(A) The provisions of this subchapter shall apply to all signs of every nature, whether portable or attached to the realty, except as otherwise provided herein, either specifically or by necessary implication.
(B) In case any sign shall be installed, erected, constructed, or maintained in violation of any terms of this subchapter, the Zoning Inspector shall notify in writing the owner or lessor of the property to permit or alter such sign so as to comply with this subchapter. Failure to comply within five days of the notice of violation shall be deemed a violation punishable under § 157.031.
