§ 157.031 PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REMEDIES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to locate, erect, construct, reconstruct, enlarge, change, maintain, establish, move, convert, repair, structurally alter, or use any building, structure, or land in violation of any provision of this chapter or any amendment thereto. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $100. Each and every day during the violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (B)   In the event of a violation of any provision of this chapter, or in the event of an imminent threat of a violation, the Zoning Inspector, City Director of Law, or the owner of any contiguous or neighboring property who would be especially damaged by a violation, in addition to other remedies provided by law, may institute injunction, mandamus, abatement, or other appropriate actions to prevent, terminate, enjoin, abate or remove the violation.
