§ 71.99 PENALTY.

   (A)   Whoever violates § 71.01(A)(1) or (3) by operating a motor vehicle when his driver’s or commercial driver’s license has been expired for no more than six months is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
   (B)   Except as provided in subsection (A) above whoever violates any provision of § 71.01 to 71.07 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
