§ 244.08 LONGEVITY ALLOWANCE.
   In addition to their regular salaries, Police Department employees who are employed with the work schedule specified in § 244.05, are entitled to longevity pay as follows:
All members who have completed or who hereafter complete three years of service shall be entitled to receive $30 per year longevity allowance up to and including 25 years of service, for a maximum of $750 per year. A longevity allowance shall be considered earned on the annual date of the employee’s employment and shall be payable with the next regular payroll following the anniversary date. Only sworn members of the Police Department are eligible for longevity pay. The years of service must be consecutive.
