(A) Applicable provisions. The provisions of Chapter 1 of this title are made applicable to all P/OS Districts, subject to the specific provisions of this section.
(B) Intent. The Parks and Open Space District is intended primarily for application to those areas where it is necessary and desirable to provide permanent open spaces, parks and related recreational facilities which are intended to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the people; to provide spaces for preservation of unusual land masses, historical sites and areas which provide energy, water and recreational activities. This designation may also include a storm drain basin as a dual use, if consistent with city master plans.
(C) Permitted uses. Please refer to the tables in § 5-3-15 of this chapter for an indication of permitted uses for the P/OS District.
