§ 5-3-9 M-1 LIMITED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
   (A)   Applicable provisions. The provisions of Chapter 1 of this title are made applicable to all M-1 Districts, subject to the specific provisions of this section.
   (B)   Intent. The Limited Industrial District is intended for land designated for restricted, nonintensive manufacturing and storage activities that are found not to have significant detrimental effects on immediately surrounding property and the general environment of the planning area. This designation assumes that materials and equipment storage is conducted mostly indoors. The M-1 District is appropriate as a buffer between heavy industrial and nonindustrial uses and where the site is visible from residential areas or major streets. Industrial park development is intended on larger parcels to create distinct districts and shall have high quality landscaping and architectural design requirements. New development shall conform to design guide standards.
   (C)   Permitted uses and development standards. Please refer to §§ 5-3-15 through 5-3-17 , Tables 2 through 9, of this chapter for an indication of permitted uses and development standards for the M-1 District.
