§ 5-3-8 C-3 HIGHWAY SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

   (A)   Applicable provisions. The provisions of Chapter 1 of this title are made applicable to all C-3 Districts, subject to the specific provisions of this section.

   (B)   Intent. The Highway Service Commercial District is intended for commercial activities and services, including transient residential uses, which are appropriate to highway locations and dependent upon highway travel. This designation allows for commercial uses, which, due to space requirements, the proximity to the highway, or the distinctive nature of their operation, are not compatible with or not usually located in other commercial designations. New development shall conform to design guide standards.

   (C)   Permitted uses and development standards. Please refer to §§ 5-3-15 through 5-3-17 , Tables 2 through 9, of this chapter for an indication of permitted uses and development standards for the C-3 District.
