(A) Applicable provisions. The provisions of Chapter 1 of this title are made applicable to all R-E Districts, subject to the specific provisions of this section.
(B) Intent. The Estate Residential District is intended to provide living areas within the city where development is limited to low density concentrations of single-family dwellings with large lot sizes, generally between 10,000 to 12,500 square feet. This zone is appropriately used to promote larger lot homes and when the overall density of an area should be limited due to public facility, safety or aesthetic concerns. This designation also provides for innovative designs and shall conform to design guide standards.
