The operation of any motorized vehicle including, but not limited to, automobiles, trucks, minibikes, motorscooters, motorbikes, motorcycles and buses is hereby prohibited on any Village parkway, sidewalk, levee, marked depot area platforms or other property for which the Village is responsible for maintenance, excepting Village streets and roadways. The foregoing shall not apply to any vehicle authorized by the Village to operate or drive upon the foregoing areas.
The operation of any motorized vehicle including, but not limited to, those listed above, is hereby prohibited on any Village street or roadway unless said vehicle is properly licensed in accordance with State and local laws and regulations.
Any person violating this section shall be subject to a fine as established by Title 1, Chapter 20, “Fees, Fines, Insurance, Guarantees, and Regulatory Measures”. (Ord. 96-2776, 5-20-1996; amd. Ord. 2021-4921, 9-20-2021)
