(a) Occupants of residential units shall separate accumulated recyclable materials according to the following categories:
(1) Newspapers and cardboard;
(2) Glass containers;
(3) Tin cans; and
(4) Aluminum cans.
(b) The Village shall notify occupants, in advance, of the days and dates upon which the different categories of recyclable materials shall be collected. Newspaper and cardboard shall be collected on the first weekend of each month, and glass containers and cans shall be collected on the third weekend of each month.
(c) Occupants shall place their separated recyclable materials in proper containers, as provided for in Section 923.02, and within twenty-four (24) hours of the date or days set for collection, shall place the containers at the curb for collection by the Village.
