It shall be the duty of the Weed Commissioner to enforce §§ 91.35 and 91.36, and if any person shall fail to comply herewith, the Weed Commissioner shall notify the property owner in writing, and if that property owner fails to comply within five days, the Weed Commissioner shall cause the premises to be mowed and report the cost thereof in writing to the Village Clerk-Treasurer in the manner provided in Wis. Stats. § 66.0517. That charge shall be spread on the tax roll as a special tax to be collected in the same manner as other taxes unless those lands are exempt from taxation.
