§ 52.27 DISPOSAL OF LEAD ACID BATTERIES, MAJOR APPLIANCES, WASTE OIL, AND YARD WASTE.
   Occupants of single-family and two- to four-unit residences, multiple-family dwellings, and non- residential facilities and properties, shall manage lead acid batteries, major appliances, waste oil, and yard waste as follows:
   (A)   Lead acid batteries shall be taken to a retail business which sells vehicle batteries. Larry’s Station will accept any lead acid batteries.
   (B)   Major appliances shall be taken to the semi-annual clean-up day and set in designated area. Freon will be removed from appliances containing freon before setting in designated area.
   (C)   Waste oil shall be taken to a facility which collects waste oil. Larry’s Station will accept clean waste oil products only.
   (D)   Yard waste shall be bagged or bundled and placed by the curb on collection days as designated annually by the Village Board. Leaves, grass clippings, and yard and garden debris should be in bags with the tops left open. Brush should be tied in bundles with length of four feet or less.
