The village shall, to the extent practicable, make purchasing decisions to maximize the purchasing of products made from recycled and recovered materials. The village shall, to the extent practicable, award contracts for equipment and supplies on the basis of recyclability and ultimate disposition of products to discourage the purchase of single-use disposable products and require purchase of multiple- use durable products.
