1610.03 AMENDMENTS.
   (a)   Articles, sections and subsections of the 2015 International Fire Code and the 2015 National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code, as adopted in Section 1610.01 , are amended or deleted as set forth in this section and additional articles, sections and subsections are added as indicated. The article and section numbers refer to like numbers and articles of the 2015 International Fire Code and the 2015 National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code.
   (b)   The 2015 International Fire Code is hereby amended as follows:
   109.4 Violation penalties. Persons who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter, repair or do work in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the fire code official, or of a permit or certificate used under provisions of this code, shall upon being found responsible of the first offense, shall be guilty of a civil infraction, punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars. Upon second or subsequent violation of this Ordinance, said person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable for a fine of not more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars, by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (c)   The 2015 National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code is hereby amended by adding the following:
