Upon presentation to the City Clerk or to his or her duly authorized assistant of a valid license issued under Act 260 of the Public Acts of 1933, as amended (M.C.L.A. 338.901 et seq.), together with the receipt for the deposit of the fee required in Section 1436.03, the City Clerk or his or her duly authorized assistant shall cause the name of the person to be properly registered as a master or journeyman plumber in the City, as the case may be.
