The City Clerk may refuse to issue a license to any applicant who has been previously convicted of any crime or who has been twice convicted of a violation of this chapter, or for other good cause shown. Every license issued under this chapter shall expire one year after the date of issuance. Each application for a license shall contain an agreement on the part of the applicant that he or she will accept the license, if granted to him or her, upon the condition that it may be suspended or revoked at the will of the City Clerk. Any license issued under Section 842.02 shall state the street number or location of the office or yard designated in the application as constituting the principal place of business of the licensee. No person shall use such license for any other location without first obtaining the approval of the City Clerk, in writing.
