(a) The office of Information Systems Administrator is hereby established in and for the City pursuant to Chapter IV of the City Charter.
(b) The Information Systems Administrator shall be in charge of the City's computer and networking system. The Administrator shall also:
(1) Plan and direct the administration and maintenance of the City's computers, networks, systems, programs and equipment;
(2) Research and provide problem resolution for systems, hardware and software issues; and
(3) Prepare for the year 2000 by analysis, testing and implementation.
(c) The salary of the Information Systems Administrator shall be as determined from time to time by Council, and he or she shall receive no fringe benefits or overtime. Such salary shall be paid in equal payments on regular paydays as established for classified employees of the City.
