§ 33.01 POLLING PLACE PROCEDURE.
   (A)   No election officer shall do any electioneering at the polling place or places on election day.
   (B)   No person shall do any electioneering on election day within 1,000 feet of any polling place denominated as such by the Election Commissioners.
   (C)   Electioneering means, inter alia, the urging of support for or opposition to a candidate, party, proposition or question, whether done verbally or by audio-visual methods such as signs, posters, cards or loudspeakers.
   (D)   It is not the intent of this section to restrict an individual’s constitutional right to support persons, parties or causes, but it is the intent of this section to draw a 1,000-foot radius around polling places in which no electioneering will transpire. In this manner, the citizenry may exercise their right to vote unimpeded by last-minute pleas, appeals or importunes.
