§ 90.012 IMPORTED DOGS.
   (A)   All dogs which are brought into the town shall be in compliance with the laws and rules of regulations of the state regarding the handling of the animals, and shall have been vaccinated not less than 30 days, nor more than 12 months prior to importation. The metal tag denoting vaccination shall be firmly affixed to the collar or harness of the dog, and shall be evidence of compliance with this section.
   (B)   (1)   If said imported dog remains in the town more than 30 days, said dog shall be licensed in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
      (2)   A certificate of vaccination issued by the licensed veterinarian to the owner or harborer of a dog within the current year by any municipality, county or state, shall be exchanged for a current inoculation and license tag of the town and a transfer fee of $1 imposed thereon for a male or spayed female and $3 for an unspayed female.
