Any person serving in the capacity of Acting Mayor under the provisions of Section 71 of the City Charter shall be compensated at the rate of seventy-one dollars and eighty-one cents ($71.81) per day for each day of service to the City.
The compensation for the Acting Mayor shall be payable in equal monthly installments and shall be computed on the basis of a five-day week, performed Monday through Friday.
Effective January 1, 1992, any person serving in the capacity of Acting Mayor under the provisions of Section 71 of the City Charter shall be compensated at the rate of 1/365th of the current Mayor's salary for each day served which falls on Monday through Friday. If the Acting Mayor serves on Saturday and/or Sunday, then the salary for those days must be separately approved by Council at the rate then determined by Council. The compensation shall be payable in equal monthly installments.
