The employees appointed as Fire Safety Inspectors in the Fire Department shall have the duty to conserve the peace and enforce all laws within the City and shall have the authority to arrest violators of the ordinances of the City and the laws of the State, within the City, and to serve summonses, warrants and all other legal writs and processes. The individuals in this position are not authorized to carry weapons involving their duties prescribed herein.
