234.19   FEES FOR HELICOPTER STANDBY SERVICE.
   (A)   When the Lima Fire Department is requested by an agency, person or corporation to standby in the event of a helicopter take-off or landing, to protect against an emergency, which would require the services of the Lima Fire Department, the following fees shall be charged:
      (1)   A five hundred dollar ($500.00) per hour fee per engine company, ladder company, or rescue unit required;
      (2)   A minimum charge of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each call-out for said engine company, ladder company, or rescue unit;
      (3)   For each quarter hour, or portion thereof, required in excess of the initial one-hour period, there shall be a charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) per quarter hour.
   (B)   The Lima Fire Department will not standby during the period between the landing and the take-off of a particular helicopter.
   (C)   A landing and then subsequent take-off of a particular helicopter within a 24-hour time period shall be considered a part of the same call-out, and the same minimum fee for one call-out shall apply, and the time involved shall be the total time added together which includes the time spent on the scene upon the landing plus the time spent on the scene upon take-off.
   (D)   All non-profit corporations, as defined by the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service, shall receive a 50% reduction in the fee charged for the services described in division (A) of this section.
