There is hereby established within the Fire Department an Arson Bureau, which shall be operated under the supervision of the Fire Chief. It shall be the duty and responsibility of the Arson Bureau to enforce and investigate violations of laws or ordinances relating to the crime of arson or in which fires, false fire alarms, explosions, stink bombs, smoke bombs, fire safety devices, disruption of fire communications and interference with fire- fighters or rescue crews in the performance of their official duties is involved.
