In addition to undertaking to provide fire protection service consisting of personnel and equipment as authorized by the provisions of this chapter, the Mayor, with the approval of the Fire Chief, may also include such other matters as emergency rescue service and fire hydrant inspection.
The Mayor and the Director of Law shall also be authorized to incorporate as a provision of such contracts any additional stipulation deemed advisable to protect the best interests of the City or incidental to the primary subject matter of such contract.
