Any person, groups of persons, township trustees or other public bodies or private partnerships or corporations owning or having an interest in real estate outside the corporate limits and desiring fire protection services from the City shall make an application therefor in writing to the Fire Chief.
The application shall be accompanied by a plat, if required, showing the location of the property as well as the location of all buildings thereon and shall contain such other information as may be required by the Mayor and the Fire Chief.
Upon receipt of the application for services, the Mayor, with the advice of the Fire Chief, shall determine whether it is feasible for the Fire Department to render fire protection to the property of the applicant.
