A violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a Class "C" infraction and a violation of the Ligonier City Code. An owner, lessee, or operator may be cited to the Ligonier City Ordinance Violation Bureau by the issuance of an Indiana Uniform Traffic Ticket. A first time violation shall be subject to a $50 fine. A second violation shall be subject to a $75 fine. A third and subsequent violation shall be subject to a $100 fine. The failure to pay the fine through the Ligonier City Ordinance Bureau may result in any citation being referred to the Noble County Superior Court Division II for prosecution. The definition of a first, second, and third offense shall be as set forth in § 36.01.
