(A) In the case of multiple apartment houses, trailer courts, or business houses occupied by more than one person, each apartment, trailer and business shall be considered a separate billing unit, and each unit shall be equipped with a separate water meter.
(B) In the event that the Town Council approves a metered property that has more than one user operating off of one meter due to the inability of the town to separately meter the different users for any reason, then the record owner of the property shall be responsible for the full payment of the water bill on a monthly basis; and the owner’s collection of a contributing share from the other users shall be the owner’s sole responsibility.
(C) In the event a user wishes to obtain a separate meter from the owner’s meter, and it is structurally able to be installed, the user will follow the procedure of application as stated in § § 52.212 and 52.213. The application shall be accompanied by documentation, from the record owner, that permission has been granted to do such.
