(A) There is hereby established a Liberty Public Library, to be owned and operated by the Town of Liberty. All residents of the town shall be entitled to the free use of this library.
(B) As provided in G.S. § 153A-268, the town may appropriate for library purposes any funds not otherwise limited as to use by law.
(C) As provided in G.S. § 153A-269, title to all property acquired by the town for library purposes shall be in the name of the town.
(D) In addition, if property is given, granted, devised, bequeathed or otherwise conveyed to the Liberty Public Library or the Board of Trustees thereof, it shall be deemed to have been conveyed to the Town of Liberty and shall be held in the name of the town.
