The advisory committee shall set or establish fee schedules for the various types of services provided by the Lewistown ambulance service. Such fee schedules shall be subject to city commission approval.
The Lewistown city commission finds that prompt and full payment of recipients of services is essential to the viability and continued operation of the Lewistown ambulance service. Such service is vital to the well being of the residents of Lewistown and Fergus County. Consequently, the known failure of service recipients to timely and fully pay for services received at the rates then in effect, shall constitute a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable as provided by the general penalty section of this code 1 . Nothing in the section shall allow contravention of medicare or medicaid regulations or policies. (Ord. 1579, 12-18-1989; amd. Ord. 1664, 1-3-2000)
