351.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Any person who violates any section of this chapter shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor, the penalty to which shall be a maximum fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
 
   (b)   Village police officers are authorized to inform violators of this chapter that they may pay the following fine(s) through the Lewisburg Village Clerk, Town Hall, South Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio, 45338, in lieu of the violation being filed with the Eaton Municipal Court or any other applicable Court of record:
      (1)   For violations of this chapter except Section 351.04. If the fine is paid within seventy-two hours of the citation being issued, the set fine is five dollars ($5.00). Between seventy-two hours and ten days of the citation, the set fine payment shall be ten dollars ($10.00);
      (2)   For violations of Section 351.04, if the fine is paid within seventy-two hours of the citation being issued, the set fine is ten dollars ($10.00). Between seventy-two hours and ten days of the citation, the set fine payment shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00);
      (3)   If the established fine per this section of this chapter is not paid through the office of the Village Clerk within ten days of the violation, any police officer is hereby authorized to see that the violator is summoned into Eaton Municipal Court and/or other applicable Court of record to answer the minor misdemeanor citation.
 
   (c)   Any person who is issued six or more parking tickets pursuant to this chapter shall have their cars placed on a tow list, and if such car is found to be in violation of this chapter, any police officer may have the vehicle towed away at the owner's expense. This subsection shall be applicable only on a calendar years basis.
 
   (d)   Any person who refuses to remove their vehicle from an area giving rise to a parking regulation violation contained in this chapter, after receiving an oral or written request from a police officer, shall be subject to having their vehicle towed away at their expense at the direction of any police officer.
