339.12 TRUCK ROUTES.
   (a)   A person operating a commercial tractor, semitrailer, tractor-semitrailer combination, commercial motor vehicle (as defined in Ohio R.C. Chapter 4506), or any other vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating equal to or exceeding five tons to make deliveries to land within the Village, that is zoned “I-1" Light Industrial-Commercial District under Part Eleven of the Lewisburg Codified Ordinances, or to leave with or pick up cargo from land within the Village that is zoned “I-1" Light Industrial-Commercial District under Part Eleven of the Lewisburg Codified Ordinances, shall proceed on truck routes only.
   (b)   The following streets are designated as truck routes:
      (1)   All United States routes and all State routes within the Village.
      (2)   West Singer Street.
      (3)   Entire Clay Street.
      (4)   Entire Dayton Street.
      (5)   Entire Western Avenue.
      (6)   West North Water Street.
      (7)   Moore Avenue south of Harrison Street.
      (8)   Entire Mulberry Street.
      (9)   East Second Street.
      (10)   East Third Street east of Walnut Street.
      (11)   Shields Road north of U.S. Route 40.
   (c)   Governmental vehicles such as school buses, Village street or refuse or utility vehicles, fire trucks, police vehicles, military vehicles, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles are exempt from having to be operated in accordance with the provisions of this section.
   (d)   A violation of this section shall be a minor misdemeanor punishable by a maximum fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00). The Village Clerk shall send a copy of this section by certified mail to the owner(s) of all land zoned “I-1" Light Industrial-Commercial District in Lewisburg, Ohio. (Ord. 1999-14. Passed 7-1-99.)
