143.05 APPOINTMENT OF A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.

(a) Council herein authorizes the Municipal Manager to appoint a Special Prosecutor on behalf of the Village, in any criminal case in which the Law Director cannot appropriately handle due to a conflict of interest or other inability to act in a preceived neutral manner.

(b) The terms of hire of a Special Prosecutor shall be within the discretion of the Municipal Manager. (Ord. 2008-13. Passed 7-3-08.)
