(a) The position of Fiscal Officer is established along with a Department of Finance as per Section 6.02 of the Charter of Lewisburg, Ohio. The Fiscal Officer shall have all powers, duties, and functions as more fully described therein.
(b) Compensation for the Fiscal Officer shall be prescribed by Council as per other applicable Ordinance, Resolution, or Motion of Council.
(c) Council, by Motion, may appoint an Acting Fiscal Officer, in the event of the absence or disability or loss for any reason of the Fiscal Officer.
(d) For purposes of all Village public records, the term Fiscal Officer shall be synonymous to Clerk, Treasurer, and/or Clerk-Treasurer, except where the context would as per Section 3.09 of the Charter of Lewisburg, Ohio, require that Clerk of Council be synonymous to Clerk, Treasurer, and/or Clerk-Treasurer.
