137.01 ESTABLISHED.
   The existing police service in the Village, commonly known as the Police Department, is ratified as established under the terms of this chapter. The Police Department shall consist of a Police Chief and such other employees, officers, and members as Council has established and/or may from time to time establish by Motion, Ordinance, or Resolution. The Municipal Manager is authorized to adopt, establish, amend, or repeal administrative rules concerning the government, powers, duties, and functions of the Police Department, with confirmation by Motion of Council.
