921.06 TAP-IN PROCEDURE.
   (a)   Whenever a real estate owner, developer, or other person or legal entity requests a tap into the Lewisburg water and/or sewer system, an application for the tap or taps shall be filed with the Village system, an application for the tap or taps shall be filed with the Village Clerk on a form approved by the Service Department Supervisor.
   (b)   Within ten days of the filing of the application, the Service Department Supervisor shall review the application and the real estate site and determine the number of taps needed for water and/or sewer for each parcel identification number on the application.
   (c)   The costs of construction and maintenance of all water and sewer lines from the tap to the site served shall be the responsibility of the applicant and/or real estate owner.

   (d)   The tap-in fee charged by the Village of Lewisburg to all applicants shall be paid prior to the time the tap is given and shall be:
      (1)   $800.00 per 3/4" water tap
      (2)   $1,400 per 1" water tap
      (3)   $250.00 per sewer tap
   For installation of larger services, the Service Department Supervisor shall determine the estimated installation costs to the Village for labor, inspection, materials, and other related costs, and an appropriate fee equal to or greater than $1,400.00 shall be assessed to the applicant.

   (e)   Council may waive the regulations contained in this section for applicants involved in proceedings for annexation to the Village.
