(a) No person, firm or corporation shall conduct "home sales" within any residential zoning district in the Village without first obtaining a permit from the Village Office.
(b) No "home sale" shall be conducted by the same resident or member of his or her family and/or on the same residential property more than twice each 365 days, nor shall any "home sale" last more than three days.
(c) No "home sale" shall offer any merchandise for sale that has been purchased by the resident for resale at such "home sale". Any new merchandise offered for sale shall be prima facie evidence as merchandise purchased by the resident for resale at such "home sale".
(d) A sign no larger than three feet by three feet may be installed on the property where the sale is being conducted. No other signs shall be placed on the public right of way or on property other than where the sale is being conducted. The sign shall be displayed during the sale only and be promptly removed thereafter.
(e) Prior to the conduct of a "home sale" permitted by this chapter, it shall be unlawful to place or display any of the property in front of the building setback line.
(f) No more than ten articles of tangible personal property may be sold or offered for sale by the owner inside his or her residence if no signs or advertising are placed or permitted to be placed outside the residence, without the necessity of obtaining a permit.
