§ 91.46 APPOINTMENT, TERM, OATH OF OFFICE AND COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS; FILLING VACANCIES.
   The members of the Fire Protection Service Commission shall be appointed for a term of one year, by each of their respective participating political subdivisions at their respective annual meetings. Both initial and successor appointees shall hold office for the term for which they are appointed and until their successors are appointed. Vacancies which may occur during the term of office of any member of the Commission as a result of death, disability, removal from the territorial limits of their respective political subdivisions, resignation or otherwise shall be filled by the political subdivision affected for the unexpired portion of the then current term. All members of the Commission shall serve without compensation.
