The City Council may, by resolution, adopt and amend from time to time a schedule of fees for the issuance of permits and the making of inspections required by the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code and until a schedule is adopted pursuant to this section, the fees being charged immediately prior to the effective date of this amendment to the city code shall continue to be charged and collected by the city.
