(A) Each applicant shall pay one of the following:
10-day permit | $20 processing fee |
120-day permit | $90 processing fee |
(B) In addition, each applicant shall pay a $3 license fee for each individual solicitor conducting activities on its behalf upon making application for a license pursuant to this chapter. Each applicant is required to obtain a state police criminal background check no more than two weeks prior to applying for a solicitors permit. A copy of the background investigation must be kept on file with the City Police Department during the permit period. Solicitor permits are not transferrable. Upon denial of any application, the license fees, but not the processing fee, shall be refunded to the applicant.
(C) Each noncommercial sponsor and solicitor shall be required to complete an application to be kept on file by the City Police Department for the time period that the noncommercial solicitation shall be conducted. Noncommercial solicitors shall not be required to pay a processing fee nor purchase a license.
