§ 92.023  SEPARATE WIRING, HEATING AND PLUMBING PERMITS REQUIRED.
   (A)   An owner, agent or general contractor may make application for a building permit; provided that a licensed electrician shall apply separately for a wiring permit; and a licensed heating and ventilating tradesman shall apply separately for a heating permit; and a registered plumber shall apply separately for a plumbing permit.
   (B)   The owner of a property proposing to construct a building thereon may perform any or all of the construction work involved; provided that he or she shall apply for the applicable permits for wiring, heating and plumbing, and provided that he or she shall perform the work involved himself or herself.
   (C)   The work done under any permit issued hereunder shall be the direct responsibility of the permit holder. No contractor shall assign any permit to another contractor who is not properly licensed or registered under the provisions of this code.
   (D)   The charge for all wiring, heating and plumbing permits is included in the building permit fees set forth in § 92.022.
