For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. When not inconsistent with the context, words used in the present tense include the future, words in the plural number include the singular number, and words in the singular number include the plural number. The word SHALL is always mandatory and not merely directory.
CITY. The City of Lebanon, State of Indiana.
PERSON. Any person, individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
USER. The person, individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization in whose name the city municipal utilities maintain water service, or anyone who receives the use and benefit of water service, which service is registered in another person, individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization’s name of any kind.
WATER. Water from the city municipal utility system.
