§ 91.02  WEAPONS POSSESSION ON TOWN PROPERTY PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to display or be in possession of any gun, firearm, knife, dagger, blackjack, club, slingshot, metallic knuckles, razor, bow and arrow or other deadly weapon of any kind on town property; except, that law enforcement officers may carry and discharge their guns or firearms when lawfully acting within the scope of their official duties.

FIRE PREVENTION
§ 91.15  RULES AND REGULATIONS ADMINISTERED BY FIRE CHIEF.
   The provisions of this subchapter, including the Fire Prevention Code, shall be administered and enforced by the Chief of the Fire Department.

§ 91.16  ACCUMULATION AND BURNING OF TRASH.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to pile or allow paper, rags, boxes or other flammable material to accumulate on property owned or occupied by him or her within a fire district, unless burned within a stove, fireplace, wire hamper or other suitable container that will prevent the fire from spreading.

§ 91.17  APPROACH OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES.
   (A)   During any emergency caused by fire, explosion or other emergency necessitating the use of fire trucks or other fire-fighting equipment, at least one avenue of communication between the fire station and the scene of the fire or other disaster shall be kept entirely free of all vehicles, excepting those hereinafter enumerated.
   (B)   The route followed by the first fire truck proceeding to the scene of the fire or other disaster shall be established as one of the avenues of communication. The police officers on duty may designate one or more additional lanes of communication between the scene of fire or other disaster and the fire station or other point needed to be reached by fire equipment, telephone equipment, electric power equipment, police equipment or ambulances in dealing with emergency.
   (C)   Streets included in the state or national highway systems are excepted. While the fire equipment of the city is being used to fight, control or extinguish any fire or during any emergency or disaster above enumerated, no person shall impede the progress of any vehicle needed or engaged in dealing with the emergency on or along the avenue of communication, and no person shall cause to be driven into or along, or parked on, any street established or designated as a part of any avenue of communication any vehicle, excepting those vehicles operated by members of the Fire Department or departments engaged in fighting the fire or dealing with the emergency with the consent of the person in charge of the Fire Department; provided that, persons who reside on premises adjoining the street may drive therein if they do not park their vehicles in the streets or otherwise impede any vehicle engaged in dealing with the emergency.

§ 91.18  SPECTATORS AT FIRE.
   (A)   Spectators shall remain at a safe distance from the scene of any fire and shall so conduct themselves as not to interfere in any way with firefighters and others who are engaged in extinguishing the fire or protecting persons or property or performing other lawful duties at the scene of the fire.

   (B)   Every person present at a fire shall be subject and obedient to the orders of firefighters and police officers in any matter relating to extinguishing the fire, removal and protection of persons and property endangered by fire, smoke or water, the freedom of Fire Department personnel and apparatus to perform their duties or to function properly, and the maintenance of order at or near the scene of the fire, and it shall be unlawful for any person to disobey any order of a firefighter or police officer. Firefighters and police officers shall have authority to arrest persons who disobey the orders and hold them in custody until the fire has been extinguished, at which time the violators shall be dealt with according to law.
