A. Use Of Base Flood Data: The village board shall obtain, review and reasonably utilize base flood elevation data available from federal, state or other sources until such time as such data has been received from the federal insurance administration. Base flood data received from the federal insurance administration shall take precedence over data from other sources. (Ord. 1114-83, 5-2-1983)
B. Certain Base Flood Elevations: The "base flood elevation" for the SFHAs (as defined in section 11-1-4 of this chapter) of those parts of unincorporated Lake County that are within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the village or that may be annexed into the village shall be delineated on the 100-year flood profiles in the flood insurance study of Lake County, dated May 3, 1982.
