ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 89-04-311

   AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE LAKE ZURICH MUNICIPAL CODE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:

SECTION I. Findings and Determinations. It is hereby found and determined that, in order to provide for health, safety and welfare of the citizenry served by the Village of Lake Zurich, it is necessary and convenient to review, amend, establish and adopt a Lake Zurich Municipal Code for the regulation and control of those activities, structures, uses and other matters all as authorized by Section 1-1-1 et seq. of Chapter 24, Cities and Villages, as amended, being the Municipal Code 1961, as amended, and other relevant provisions of the Illinois Revised Statutes, 1987, as amended.

SECTION II. Code Adopted. The Lake Zurich Municipal Code as appended hereto is hereby authorized, approved and adopted as the Official Village Code of the Village of Lake Zurich, Lake County, Illinois, all upon the terms, provisions, limitations and conditions as set forth in said Lake Zurich Municipal Code.

SECTION III. Ordinance Number; Effective Date. This ordinance shall be designated Ordinance No. 89-04-311 and shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form.
