A. General Penalty; Fines: Whenever the fine or penalty for a violation of this Code or any other code, ordinance, or regulation of the Village is not specified, then that violation is punishable by a fine as shown in title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of this Code. B. Separate Violation: A separate violation will be deemed to have been committed on each day on which a violation occurs or continues.
C. Imprisonment: The Village may seek imprisonment for a period not to exceed six (6) months for any violation in lieu of, or in addition to, any fine levied under subsection A of this section, except that the Village may assess only those penalties set forth in subsection A of this section unless imprisonment is specifically provided for in the citation, summons, or warrant or by other notice.
