A. Authorized Officials, Processes: The Village Board of Trustees and the Village Manager and their appointed delegates including among others representatives of the Lake Zurich Police Department, Building and Zoning Department, and Public Works Department have authority to administer and enforce the provisions of this Code. Notwithstanding any provision of this Code to the contrary, a Code violation may be processed, heard, and adjudicated by the Illinois Circuit Court for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit (Lake County), or through the Village's administrative hearing system, or as otherwise specifically provided in this Code or otherwise by law. In the case of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this section and any other provision of this Code, the provisions of this section will apply and control except as otherwise determined in writing by the Village Manager. B. Administrative Hearing System: If a violation of this Code is processed, heard, and adjudicated through the Village's administrative hearing system, then chapter 8 of this title will apply and govern the processing, hearing, adjudication, and enforcement of that violation.
