5-4-9: SERVICE CHARGES:
   A.   Basic Occurrence Charges: More than three (3) alarm occurrences in a calendar year from an alarm system shall result in the imposition of service charges pursuant to title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of this Code that shall be paid by the alarm user.
   B.   Nonresident Charge: Any owner of property outside of the Village corporate limits to whose property the Lake Zurich Police Department responds as a result of the activation of a security alarm shall pay to the Village a fee pursuant to title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of this Code for such response, unless the Lake Zurich Police Department responds as a result of a request of another law enforcement agency.    C.   Notification Of Charges: The Police Department shall notify the alarm user in writing of each alarm occurrence. After the third alarm occurrence in a calendar year, the Police Department shall notify the alarm user of the fact that additional alarm occurrences will result in the imposition of service charges in accordance with this section. After additional alarm occurrences, the Village shall invoice the alarm user for the service charges which have been imposed.
   D.   Payment Of Service Charges: All service charges shall be paid by the alarm user within thirty (30) days after receipt of the invoice tendered pursuant to subsection C of this section. (Ord. 94-04-659, 4-18-1994)
