4-3-10: TRANSPORTING REFUSE; VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   No person shall transport refuse or cause refuse to be transported over the streets or other public ways in the Village unless such refuse being transported is entirely and securely covered. (Ord. 1090-82)
   B.   Refuse shall not be transported over or along the streets of Lake Zurich or other public property thereof except in a leakproof, compaction type body referred to as a "packer type" refuse body, approved by the Village Manager. Such equipment shall not be permitted to remain parked anywhere in the Village limits when not in use, but may be stored or kept when not in use in a tightly constructed and closed building or shed within the Village; provided such building or structure shall conform with the requirements of the Building and Zoning 1 Codes of the Village. Any refuse that may have been spilled on private premises, parkways, streets, alleys or other public places shall be immediately cleaned up in a neat and workmanlike manner. Refuse disposal contractors shall replace, at their own expense, any containers which may be damaged by the carelessness of their employees. (Ord. 1090-82; amd. Ord. 2012-10-861, 10-1-2012)
