A. License Required: Prior to advertising any sale defined in section 3-9-2 of this chapter, a license shall be obtained from the Office of the Village Clerk.
B. Exemptions: The license requirement set forth in subsection A of this section shall not apply to sales exempted from the licensing requirement by section 3 of the Fraudulent Sales Act.
C. Application For License: Each application for a license shall be completed on a form provided by the Village. The application shall include all of the information required by section 4 of the Fraudulent Sales Act. (Ord. 2006-08-435, 8-7-2006)
D. License, Renewal Fees: A nonrefundable fee shall be submitted with the license application and with any application for renewal of a license in the amount pursuant to title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of this Code. (Ord. 2006-08-435, 8-7-2006; amd. Ord. 2018-12-279, 12-3-2018)
E. Validity Of License: The license issued by the Village Clerk shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the start of the sale. The license can be renewed for no more than an additional thirty (30) days, as provided in section 8 of the Fraudulent Sales Act.
F. Additional Terms, Conditions, And Limitations: Every license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to all terms, conditions, and limitations imposed on such licenses by the Fraudulent Sales Act. (Ord. 2006-08-435, 8-7-2006)
