Any person who shall violate, disobey, omit, neglect, or refuse to comply with, or who shall resist enforcement of, any provision of this Zoning Code shall be subject to a fine pursuant to title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of the Lake Zurich Municipal Code for each offense; provided, however, that, if service of summons is made by certified mail pursuant to section 1-2-9.1 of the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-2-9.1, as amended, then the maximum fine shall be pursuant to title 13, chapter 1, "Fee Schedule", of the Lake Zurich Municipal Code.
